MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

HUBBARD BEACH ASSOCIATION

  1. Membership is available only to owners of properties on lower Old Hubbard Road, Dale Road, Quimby Road, Quimby Circle, Hemlock Glen, Fish Cove Road, Summerside and certain parts of Stonedam Island Road. Requests for membership from outside this area are not accepted.
  2. The Association owns (and members access) the beach and ramp property.
  3. Although the beach and launch ramp may not be needed by lakefront owners, this shared property adds value to all HBA owners.
  4. HBA leadership (officers, directors and committee chairs) serve as liasons to town officials to request/convey shared concerns. Representing over 1,400 constituents, collectively we can have greater influence than a single request.
  5. Two summer official gatherings, and unofficial get-togethers (e.g. Sunset (5pm) Sundays provide opportunities to meet neighbors and other HBA members.
  6. Learn more about local Associations, Convervation Trusts, Millfoil Crisis Committee, etc. to protect and improve the quality of our lake.
  7. HBA, an affinity group, exists because members have benefited the camaraderie since its incorporation in 1982.
  8. HBA dues are small compared to adjacent property associations. A small price to pay for the benefits listed above.
